I’ve had a headache for two days now. I haven’t had a headache like this in a long time and it really sucks. Preston and TJ also have headaches so I don’t know. TJ said it’s national headache day.
So I started my period. It’s alright though, I’m not too torn up over it. Maybe next month. This will only be our 3rd cycle trying and that’s really just getting started for most people. My birthday is next month so maybe it’ll be a lucky month
Speakings of birthdays… I can’t believe I’m going to be 22 soon! I feel older than that, sometimes I forget that I’m only 22. I’m so much “older” (in terms of behavior and attitude) than most other 22 year olds that I know.
Oh by the way… the photo site is almost done. TJ did the design for me
It’s uber cute so check back. The wedding pictures will be on there and I know you’re all dying to see those
Well, since I’m not pregnant I think I’m going to go take an extra hot bath and throw back a few martinis!

Hey.. I know you’re trying to get pregnant, I don’t know if you know any of this- but I guess it won’t hurt to pass it onto you. Normally when woman first get preggo they miscarry and then get pregnant again, its common and its normal. I know this sounds disgusting and alot of women aren’t comfortable with it, but sometimes right after your cycle or during your cycle you can conieve (sp? Sorry!), sometimes after sex you can lay on your back, and pull your knees towards your chest, I don’t know if it helps, but Ive heard of some woman doing it.
Another thing is- The harder you try, the less likely you will become pregnant. So, you know, Relax, when the time right he/she will come, you can’t force, as much as you want. MEaning, don’t take preg. test and just wait and see, as much as it kills you, but the less stress in trying to it, the more likely you will be preg.

, i mean…we weren’t trying, but most people conceive around the holidays, so maybe that’ll be you–a bun in the oven for a x-mas gift! good luck, seems like you’ll be a good mum.

Hi, this is my first time at your site. I found it from Jenn at xoxo.nu…everyone wants to become pregnant! I thought I was for awhile but I wasnt. I hope things work out for you!!

Thanks for the info Cara
I have heard that before, but I think pulling your knees to your chest is a little too much. That would tilt your cervix too far in the wrong direction. Lots of women put a pillow under their hips for about 20 mins after sex, that tilts you back just far enough for sperm to pool in the right spot.
As far as trying to hard… I don’t go freaking out and stressing all over about not being pregnant yet. Trying to get pregnant means having sex. And so trying too hard does not make it less likely to get pregnant. Technically, not trying hard enough makes it less likely to get pregnant! We have sex every day anyway, we always have every day even before we started trying to get pregnant, so we are just continuing to have sex normally. There’s no such thing as too much sex when you’re trying to get pregnant. And taking pregnancy tests isn’t an attempt to force anything. I only start taking them as early as they will reasonably work. When you want to be pregnant, it’s normal to want to know as soon as possible if you are or not.
It’s also a very, very, very common misconception that stressing will make it less likely to get pregnant. Stress has never been proven to prevent pregnancy or hurt your chances of becoming pregnant.
Anyway, I guess it might sound like I stress over being pregnant but I really don’t. I just have wonderful sex with my husband, hope for the best, and take a pregnancy test when that time comes in my cycle.
I know we’ll get pregnant again when our time is right, I have no doubt about it.

Sarah!
I was the same way as you when I was trying for my 2nd. It happened way quicker than I could have ever imagined and I was always stressed and testing..etc. It will happen!

You had always seemed older/wiser than your years, even when you were still 17 when my computer screen was first graced by you
Take care, Sare!
The best of luck with your pregnancy plans! I have sooo much respect for you as a person, and am always happy when things go your way for you, so the best of luck!
Also, I’m sure that hot bath/martini dousage helped your headache!

Ugh. I hate those headaches that seem to hang and hang and hang. I hope yours is gone by now.
And I wish you the best of luck with conceiving! It doesn’t always happen right away… with Alyssa we had unprotected sex for over a year before I got pregnant. With Ryan I got pregnant within a few times of trying; it had to have been dumb luck!
