Test from this morning… I know that line was faint on yesterdays test but trust me, the picture doesn’t do it justice. You don’t even have to squint in person to see the line. And, a line is a line. So… yes, I am really pregnant. I haven’t even missed my period yet! It would have been due this coming Tuesday. I got my first positive at 9 days past ovulation. The average time to get your first positive test is 12 days past ovulation. So yes, the line is faint. I realize that it’s possible to get a positive test and then end up getting your period even a few days later. That would be a chemical pregnancy or a miscarriage. Even after having one miscarriage I’m not going to sit around expecting or being afraid that I might have another miscarriage or that this pregnancy result isn’t “real”.
Pregnancy is designed to work. I have faith in God that my pregnancy will work and be healthy.
I just want you to know that we have the cutest baby names picked out. Yes, we already have names picked out.
You know what I think is really funny and really stupid? When people give their kids nicknames that sound like something you would name a dog. Really, if you’re just going to call the kid by a dog name, just give it a dog name. Why give it a semi normal name and butcher it with some doggie nick name?
I went to my first Texas high school football game last night. Only in Texas does “ten” have two syllables. “Tee-yen”. Wow.

Congratulations Sarah! All of your friends here are stoked for you! Also, I agree with you about that whole weirded out name placeing thing that some parents, especially some celebrity parents inflict upon their newborns!
Whatever you do, make sure not to name your child some gawdawful name like “Apple”, or “Mortimer” (both Gwenith Paltrows’ offspring).
“Reignbeau” or “Specwildhorse” and countless names of all the like above will guarantee you haveing to hire security escorts for your child to, during, and after school!
I know YOU though, Sarah, and I have full confidence that you and Preston have some cool names all ready to go.

Tee-yen. Heh. That’s funny…
And oh yes, the faint line! I tested positive for my pregnancy with Ryan before I even missed a period… so yes, I had the really super faint line too. It doesn’t make it any less real!
