I had a progesterone test done last week and I got the results back Monday. They like you to be at least between 15-20 and I was at 28! I was very happy to hear that! So I am now 5 weeks and 1 day pregnant. They moved my first appointment to Nov. 9th at 1pm. I should still be able to see the heartbeat by that time, so hopefully I’ll come home with baby’s first picture.
I feel a lot better about this pregnancy than the last one. I actually feel pregnant this time. I had hardly any symptoms last time even up until the time I miscarried. My nipples have been sore since the day I ovulated, I wish I could just go topless everywhere. I’m also starting to feel nauseous in the mornings, and I’m having to eat more frequently. I’m doing really well so far with eating well and eating small, frequent meals. I’m determined not to “eat for two”! I do need to work harder on my Coke craving. My doctor said it’s okay to have one a day but I know it would be best for me to not have any at all. I really need to work on that. I am drinking a lot of water though. I’m trying to drink 5 20oz bottles a day. If I don’t drink a lot of water I get digestive issues. They aren’t fun. I won’t gross you out by going into my pregnancy digestive issues.
The strangest of all things though is my sleeping habits. I used to go to bed really late and get up around noon. Now I can’t stay awake past 11pm and I always wake up around 9am. I’ve never been a person to wake up early on my own. Even the other day when I did stay up until about 2am, I got up at 9:30am wide awake. It’s weird for me but I actually really like it. I’ve been soooo tired lately. It’s amazing how much impact something the size of a sesame seed can have on your body!
I need to go take a shower and get dressed. Today it’s cold and cloudy outside. I loooove it. It’s only supposed to be in the 60’s all week. Right now it’s about 57 degrees. It’s one of those days where you can’t help but be lazy. It’s nice.

Hey Sarah,
Just wondering what you’re going to do, job-wise, during the later part of your pregnancy? Are you going to keep working?

All of my photos and videos are shot in advance. I am currently working on the next year’s worth of content.
But that’s not my only job. Preston runs several websites, and I help him. Obviously I’m preparing my site for the time that I am pregnant, but it is being taken care of and won’t be coming down anytime soon.
I’d rather not discuss this on here too much though, so if you have more questions feel free to email me.

Congratulations on your baby! I’m excited for you! I haven’t really been following this blog that long, but I love reading about pregnancy! It’s exciting. My mother said that when she was pregnant with me, the only thing she would do was sleep and vomit :dead: I love my mother :cute:

I was pregnant for a short time, and the sleeping thing amazed me too! It’s so frickin small but your body is working so hard and using so much energy & so many calories (hence the hunger) when it’s reproducing, that it just wears you out. I was tired by 4:00pm after school, and taking naps all the time. Also, by the time I was at like 7-8w, my appetite changed dramatically. I was a huge gum person (until I got Invisalign, which doesn’t let you eat while it’s in)–minty gum, not bubble gum. I used to chew gum all day. But one day, the thought or smell of it made me want to puke. I had to switch to the pink stuff. :blank: I hope it goes smoothly for you and things are easy to adjust to. I know it’s not easy always being tired if you’re working or something, so I hope it all goes well.
(p.s. Rossi even disabled his Earthlink photo site that he used to post your stuff on; until yesterday, it was still open but had no pics on it. Now it’s totally gone. Loser.)

im happy you’re drinking lots of water…i can’t do it. water would make me soooo sick when my morning sickness first hit, now it increases my chronic heartburn- and i too have a soda addiction. :cute:pepsi:cute: owns me though. i switched to caffeine free. i pound a two liter a day. i can’t help it. i’ll leave the house at 2am for my pepsi fix. the doctor said it’s not too bad since i nixed the caffeine but all that sugar makes my baby dance, dance, dance…

Oohh, I remember being SOOO freaking tired. I mean, I was so tired I’d want to cry. Your body’s working hard to grow a baby, remember that, so resting is TOTALLY OKAY!
Also, there is a lot of talk about blah blah blah you can’t do this or eat that. I ignored it all, and did what I wanted. Aidan is just fine.
Can’t wait to read more updates!!
