So we finally got everything moved into the new house. It’s been a long couple of days! I actually didn’t pack anything by myself because whenever I started, I would get soooo tired. So nothing even started getting packed until 7pm Friday night when everyone got there to help for the weekend. I was afraid it wouldn’t get done this weekend but, it did! So I wasn’t able to make sure everything was “packed right” but hey, it ended up getting packed pretty darn good without me! This pregnancy sure is teaching me, among other things, that there are just some things you can’t be picky about. Everyone was such a big help, I’m so thankful that we had good help or my poor husband and brother would have been doing it all alone. I’m also extremely thankful to have such an amazing husband!!! Oh and just a side note… my husband is really freaking sexy when he’s working hard.
So now, everyone is gone and Preston and my brother went to take the truck back and to get the celing fans from the old house. Last night sucked here at the new house because there’s no celing fan in our room and I can’t sleep well at all with the air still. It gets muggy feeling, ya know? So while they’re gone I think I’m going to go slowly unpack something.
Another side note… I’m really irritated that someone hasn’t come out to the house yet and installed the blinds. They keep saying that he’ll be here but they are apparently backed up right now. This is when having a big huge window in your bathroom is a bad thing.

my sister had huge windows in her dining room. she left them open, since it was on the side of the house. till she found a peeping tom! so that was the end of the open windows :P.
i keep trying to over do myself. everyone tells me to slow down. had i been you, i would of been packing & moving boxes myself. heh.

That’s not cool. One of your upstairs bathroom’s will probably work well for the time being though. You just can’t have that bubble bath that you so amply deserve quite yet.

I actually moved twice last year when I was pregnant. The first time I was just barely into my second trimester and I helped as much as anyone would let me. The second time though… I was at my due date and I didn’t even see the move occur.

that’s lame.. you said last week someone was supposed to install blinds like the next day!! ugh.. sometimes it’s so hard to get people to your place to help. cable, blinds, whatever..
you have another appointment tomorrow i see!!! let us know how that goes! =]
i’m glad you have so much great family to help you move, and it’s awesome that Preston & your brother are handling some of the big stuff and errands. i hope the decorating and all that goes as smoothly and quickly.

Ya know, when you posted pix of your tub and the bathroom window RIGHTTHERE, I was like omg time for blinds pronto! lol
(Although it’s a GORGEOUS bathroom, and the window is pretty neat!) Does it look out to your backyard? Yeah, I guess the sheet thing is a good idea for now.
