Owwwww. My feet hurt. These hard wood floors and tile really kill my feet. Walking on the carpet is starting to become orgasmic. Ha. We have the nicest carpet in this house, it feels so good, I just love it. But, the majority of the downstairs is hard wood and tile. I made the best dinner tonight… mmm roast. My feet hurt standing there on the tile finishing it but it was so worth it.
Guess what? Our dishwasher is umm… not so good. This house was built in 2000 and I’m guessing the appliances are that old as well. The first time I used the dishwasher I noticed the bottom didn’t drain completely, and then tonight it starts like…. oozing bubbles and water everywhere. Not good. So, looks like we’re going to buy a dishwasher tomorrow. All the appliances that came in the house are white, so we’re going to slowly replace them (hopefully they will die slowly and not all at once lol) with stainless steel ones to match the fridge, washer, and dryer. Not that you can see the washer and dryer… have I ever told you I love my laundry room? Actually I just love this whole house.
I mentioned a while back when we bought the cribs that we ordered the hutch that goes with the changing table/dresser combo thing… well it came in this weekend. Sweet! I’m so glad it didn’t take 10-12 weeks like they said it would. I’m actually really surprised it didn’t take that long.
So, I went to the hospital Friday. I had the worst headache all day and by the evening I was feeling dizzy and seeing stars, plus my blood pressure was not as good as it could be. It wasn’t high, but it wasn’t as low as it needs to be, and my pulse was really high too. I called my doctor and she told me to come to labor and delivery just to make sure things were okay. She told me to call if I had any number of symptoms… all of which I had that day… so I called and was surprised to hear “come to labor and delivery right now” but it ended up being fine. We were there for a few hours while they monitored me and the babies. I was having contractions but nothing regular so that was okay. They have started feeling different lately… it’s kind of hard to explain but they have been feeling different than what I am used to. I’ve been drinking a lot more water lately and no caffeine at all and that has helped my blood pressure and pulse a lot. I was drinking a lot of water before but aparently not enough. It’s so hard to get the required amount of water for two babies! And I wasn’t excessively drinking caffeine but aparently what I was having was too much because just those two changes have helped so much. But, I still need to not work myself so hard. I’m trying to help Preston get the house unpacked completely… it’s coming along so far… but I did too much Saturday and ended up feeling like total crap by the evening so we missed Ashton’s soccer game. Preston could have gone but he’s not leaving me alone at this point, which is good. I felt so bad but she’s so sweet and understanding. She knows that when her Daddy misses something he said he would do that it’s always for a good reason, so she wasn’t upset.
Anyway, I have a doctor appointment early tomorrow so I better grab my sexy hubby and get in bed.

Aww - sorry you arent feeling well. The good news is, this is the final stage! Do you have some comfy slippers for when you’re on tile and wood? I live in FL so my house is all tile, too.. so I know what you mean and I’m not even PG. Let us know how the Dr appt goes!!

I was just going to suggest getting some good slippers. Even comfy flip flops, or runners. Put something on your feet girl. You should never walk on tile in barefeet.
once the house is unpacked, do you plan to snap some photos, cuz I would love to see if once its done.

oh man! yeah, slippers sound like a good idea, although maybe not so appealing, if it’s hot there like it’s getting here..
how do you make a roast?! haha i’m always amazed when i hear about what you made because i’m 21 and can’t make hardly anything yet. i love microwaves and sandwiches.
Hospital? Was that a lil scary? Hopefully you don’t have too many of those situations until they’re really ready to come out & meet you!
i’d love to see more of the house too!
