Poor Emma has been waking up in the middle of the night lately with really bad gas. It’s been right around 5:30am for a couple weeks now. There will be a night here and there where it won’t happen, but most nights it does. I know it’s just gas because she has a certain cry when she is gassy and once it’s gone she goes right back to sleep. I’ve been giving her baby gas drops but honestly, I don’t think they work. Preston swears they do but I’m not convinced. I remember someone mentioned trying chamomile tea, my mom suggested the same thing so I think I’m going to try that. I wish there were something I could do before she goes to sleep to prevent the gas but it sounds like all I can do is things after the gas already hits. She’s not gassy at all during the day, only at night. My mom said she’ll probably grow out of any tummy issues really soon… I sure hope so. I can’t believe they will be 4 months old on the 30th! Crazy!
Anyway, I’m hungry. I need to find some breakfast!

Gracie used to be REALLY gassy as an infant and my whole family swears on fennel seed tea, so basically u go to thegrocery store, u can buy it inthe seasonings aisleprobably, its a little thing of “fennel seed” in the container like a spice or somethingwould come in, and you take a teaspoon ofthat, and a cup of water, and boil it together, then drain the seeds out and pour the remaining into a bottle, after it has cooled (or u can put ice in it) and feed it to her, justas much as she will drink….Grace loooooooved it…they say it tastes like black liccorice. lol. and u can either increase or decrease the ammount of seed you use depending on how well it works…
