So this is how smart I am.
Preston and I were on the couch relaxing in front of the fire place, talking about how excited we were for Christmas. He was saying how he is excited to give me my gifts because I’m just going to love them and how I’m going freak over what he got me. Then I said…
“I’m excited to give you your gifts too!!! I really hope you like the colog….”
I totally blew it. This is not the first time I have done this. When I was a teenager, I told my boyfriend at the time, Kyle, “I really hope you like the watch I got you.” I cannot talk about gifts. I am the worst at blurting it out. My inner blonde shines at Christmas and birthdays. So, I tried to play it off…
“Golf shoes… I got you golf shoes.”
Of course that didn’t work because (thank God) Preston doesn’t play golf. So we just laughed at how awesome I am at ruining surprises and I let him open his gift early. He absolutely loved it though. I got him Armani Code and it is heavenly. Mmmmm he smells scrumptious.

haha! I almost did the same thing a couple of weeks ago, I was all ‘yeah, when I stopped at B-’ CRAP. Almost said ‘Best Buy’! I knew if he knew I went there, he would know I bought him some video games. DOH!

I cannot lie to my boyfriend, so when he asked me what I got him and I wouldn’t tell him he resorted to asking me the “yes or no’s”. It was funny though. He figured out me saying “XBox” was enough to give him “XBox 360 game”.
And he knows which one that is.
Your girls are beautiful! So are you. Glad to see you’re doing well.

my mother is an A-1 gift blurter! One year she was like, “I hope you like the ring I got you to match your bracelet for your birthday!”
