On my list of New Year’s resolutions is to lose these last 4lbs of pregnancy weight that is hanging out on my thighs and booty. I know you can’t “spot burn” fat, but you can tone certain areas and that’s definitely what I need to do. We have an elliptical machine I don’t know why I don’t make time to use it because if I did I know the weight would drop off. I’m blessed in being able to lose weight quickly if I actually work out. Carrying two babies (15lbs and 17lbs) up three flights of stairs has been giving me a nice workout though. I need something like this Leg Magic thing. Call me weird but it just looks fun! LOL! I get a visual of Preston and I competing to see who can go the fastest on it. We’re pretty much dorks like that.
Anyway, I had to kill some time while Emma fell back asleep. Now I’m going to bed.

there is this pilates move for your legs/butt that i swear works wonders. lay on your side with your legs together & your knees slightly bent. rest your head on your hand, propping yourself up.
all you do is lift your knee up toward the ceiling, but you keep your ankles touching each other. so you’re doing kind of a butterfly looking thing. after you get to the position where your knee is up in the air, you let your ankles stop touching and lift your leg straight up in the air as high as you can. so it’s two fluid parts. butterfly then extend, butterfly then close back together. and you do it 8 times on each side however many times you want. it’s INSANE how quick it worked for me.

My apartment has a fitness room and there an elliptical machine and it has a lower body strengthen option on it- I have no idea if all of them are the same. Anyway, I love that machine.
