I know I have mentioned this before (and the books have shown up in my sidebar) but I’m reading this Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich and I just love it to bits. I’m on number seven and I’m going to be pretty sad when I’ve caught up to the current book and eventually when the series is done because the books are just so fun. I’m going to need another series to read. I prefer series for some reason. I was looking for a new series to start when I’m done with this one and stumbled on this site that sells Audio Books and Ebooks. They have a ton of books for way cheap. I don’t know if I would like reading an ebook but I do like audio books for the right occasion.
What do you guys like to read? I need some good suggestions for when I’m done with this series. I like mysteries but not ones that are way serious and complex. I don’t want to have to think that much.
Heh just kidding. Really ones that have a funny side is what I mean. So anyway, now I’m going to go take a bath and read because all the munchkins are sound asleep.

I really like the new theme!
As far as good books… I haven’t read them in a while but I’m guessing they’re kind of like Janet Evanovich series (which my mom LOVES, by the way!): all of Sophie Kinsella’s books. I think they’re really great and so funny, you won’t be able to put them down!

I love reading fantasy books, preferably something written by either Marion (Zimmer) Bradley, Robin Hobb (also known as Megan Lindholm) or Katharine Kerr. My favourite book ever though must be “In the Forests of the Night’ by Amelia At-water Rhodes. It is in fact a children’s book but I do enjoy to read it from time to time. Some series (since you enjoy those the most) I would recommend are: The Darkwater Trilogy (by Juliet Marillier), any of Anne Rice’s vampire-related series or the Mayfair Witches series and Virginia Andrew’s Dollanganger series. But, in case you do not like reading fantasy or drama (the last one is drama) I’m afraid you might not really be interested in them

i wish i was more of a reader - seriously. i think i’m too impatient or something? it’s a weird phenomena… i’ll pick up a book and if i’m not crazy crazy interested in it, i just can’t finish it.
i’m kind of jealous of ppl who are readers to be honest!

I am not a reader. I try really hard to be sometimes. I bought a bunch of books and I have yet to even open the cover. After the Lifetime series Army Wives aired, I decided to buy the book the show was based off of because I absolutely LOVE that show…and I read the first chapter and it has now been sitting on my dresser for about 6 months.
And I Kalen too am jealous of people who can pick up a book and read all the way through it!

If you like Janet Evanovich, you might enjoy Sue Grafton. She writes in mystery/fiction in alphabetical order…A if for Alibi; B is for Burgular. She has a main character in all of her books that is somewhat similar to Stephanie Plum..only she is a Private Investigator named Kinsey Millhone. I enjoy them…matter of fact, I’m reading her latest, T is for Trespass right now. I think you would like them.

There is a Christian author named Dee Henderson that has a series called The O’Malleys. It is really really good, suspense, mystery, love, etc. I think there are 7 books and a preface book.

I love to read! Three of my favorite series are: His Dark Materials by Philip Pullman (the first one is the Golden Compass), Memory, Sorrow and Thorn by Tad Williams, and The Amber Chronicles. I have them all linked on my blog: http://rebelheart.squarespace.com/charlottes-links/

Ah I love the series about Stephanie Plum too! I just love the humor in the books. I haven’t read them all yet, but it will be sad to reach the last book
