Today was a good day. Most every day is a good day, however today was exceptional. Want to know why? Good, because I was going to tell you. We got our Direct TV hooked up today, which means that Sunday after the (retardedly overrated) Super Bowl (which I will not be watching thank God) I get to reunite with House. Yes. This has made my day. See how easy I am to please?
I think that House (and Wilson) are uber sexy. But shh… don’t tell my husband. Oh right, he already knows! I love the sarcastic attitude House has. It’s strangely charming. In a fake TV character sort of way, of course.
This post would not be fair without including a photo of my adorable and sweet husband. There. Now it’s fair. See how sexy he is too?! And he sings to me. *Swoon* For the record, I love him five gazillion times more than I love House.
Also what has made the day exceptional, is that the financial situation is looking up extremely quickly and I am relieved to say the least. Cutting the rent in half has helped way more than I expected. We will be completely caught up on everything (minus child support - HI - yes we suck, we know) by the end of February. It’s a huge, huge relief. Then the beginning of March we will have our insurance again, which is another huge relief. We are supposed to go with this plan that does not have maternity coverage, but I think we have finally decided that we actually want to keep the maternity coverage. Who knows, I might need that coverage along with some maternity jeans soon.
Either way it’s back by March and as soon as it’s active I am going to the dentist! I love getting my teeth cleaned. I’m one of those weird people who actually like going to the dentist. (That was a pretty random little tid bit right there! )
Anyhow. . . I just had a really good day. Sometimes I have days where I am reminded more than the usual of how incredibly blessed I am. Today was one of those days. I just love my happy giggly babies and my sweet thoughtful husband. It’s good.
Ashton will be here this weekend, which is also a relief. I can quit worrying about her for oh. . . 50 hours or so? I spend a lot of time worrying about her well being lately. It really takes a lot of stress off me when she is here with us because when she is here I know that she is safe and peaceful. Poor thing. Have I ever told you how much she loves wings? She can eat wings like there is no tomorrow. We aren’t talking mild wings here either… we’re talking HOT wings. She asked if I knew how to make home made hot wings so we are going to do that together this weekend. I’m looking forward to it.
Okay so, this was all random but hey, most of the time it is right? I’m going to bed now, I am so tired.
p.s. To add to the exceptionalness, I am now 1lb lighter than my pre-pregnancy weight. WOO! I just try to eat smart. It works for me.

You should buy some Hooters hot wing sauce. I think they have it at WalMart for less than $5 a bottle. It’s sooo good!

Congrats on the weight babe I’m so happy for you!
Just another reason we are SO different…I love football and have never seen one episode of House. I hear good things. I guess I will have to rent the series. I keep hearing such good things about it.

I’m not watching the Super Bowl. I didn’t last year.
I use to really love the dentist until last year when I got some Nazi dental tech. She made my gums bleed even though I floss daily and I couldn’t eat solid foods for two days. I was surprised when the dentist came in and said my teeth were perfect. I couldn’t figure out why the dental tech tried to murder my teeth & gums.

At our church, Pace Hartfield (sp?) got to be a flag carrier at the Dallas Cowboys game. He talked about how he got so into the hype of it all and he was so pumped, everything was going nuts… the ball games are huge productions and everything is just so intense! But he said after it was over, he realized how small every bit of it was, because of what really matters in life. It’s just overkill most of the time how much goes into ONE single game between 2 teams. It’s just another game… why? Because it can be very rare that the teams that end up in the Super Bowl are actually the best teams in the first place. Take for instance Dallas. Their record this year was outstanding and a small number of points and some minutes on the clock completely shut them down, and the team that took their place, was nowhere close in talent and ability. So thats why its just another game. And not to mention… how many guys get all brute about it, so much so that their family has to take a back seat, if they aren’t as enthusiastic about it in the first place.
And btw, thanks Sarah for telling me that I’m sexier than House… I wish I was
P.S. Connie, is the Hooters wing sauce better than their wings? Because when I had their wings a long time ago, I was sorely dissappointed…. oh and we wouldn’t take Ashton there

Are you pregnant now? You’ve been mentioning it an awful lot lately. Congrats if so! You two make adorable peanuts!

I love House so very much. I was so excited for a new episode.

No, no, no . . . I’m not pregnant right now! Preston and I have just been talking about it more lately since the girls are approaching their 1st birthday. Someone sent in a question asking if we wanted more so I mentioned it then, and then the insurance thing… and the maternity jeans link was for a link assignment. I guess it’s just been on my mind more lately since Preston and I have been discussing it.

Oh how I love House!! He is so sexy is a smart-ass snarky way. I can’t believe that the girls are 8 months old. Where has the time gone! I remember your belly pics from TWW. They were always such great pics, Preston is really a great photographer. I’m so happy for you. What a great family.

Preston– I actually like their sauce better than their wings. You can buy a bottle of it at WalMart for, like, $4 and add it to whatever chicken product you want. I would put it on grilled chicken and make a sandwich out of it. They’re really good on home fried wings. But yeah– it’s definitely better than the actual restaurant.

Thanks for the clarity on that, I’m going to try that sauce Connie, Ash is a wing fiend!

Argh I think your completely nuts if you have more kids before your twins are… teenagers? Haha. I don’t know how you manage with twins I think I’d go crazy.
As for house.. yak! That guy looks exactlylike my Dad.. we always tease him about it. He does a great American accent you wouldn’t believe he was British would ya?

Oh my goodness I didn’t see you were one lb lighter than your pre-prego weight! Congrats! That’s gotta feel awesome huh?
