I’ve listed more auctions on ebay if anyone is interested.
So today the girls had their first actual fight. It was actually quite funny and cute. I put them down on a blanket to play together while I put their clothes away. I gave them each a couple of toys which kept them content for all of about 2 minutes. They both decided that they wanted this one particular toy - a bright colored book made from that crinkle material that makes the crushing crinkly noise when you grab it. Ava had it first, and Emma stole it from her. When Ava tried to get it back, they ended up with one hand each on the book pulling and screaming their heads off! Ava was kicking her legs like she does when she gets frustrated and crying in her hurt feelings type cry, and Emma was just screaming and crying the kind of cry that is so high pitch it could break a window. I couldn’t help but laugh which made Ava cry her hurt feelings cry even more. So I resorted to just taking the book and putting it away because every time I tried to give it back to Ava, Emma went after it again. We actually do have two of these books but one needs to be cleaned right now because Emma decided to leave some of her dinner on it. Eww.
I’m so excited tonight because I got an iLife ‘08 family pack on ebay for $59.59 (thanks to advertising and ebay auctions). It retails for $99 if you do a directbuy from Apple’s website, so I saved $40. Woo!
Next I want to buy Leopard but that will have to wait until I can find a good deal.
Emma didn’t have a fever all day today, which is great, I’m so glad she is getting better quick. Hopefully we will both get some good sleep tonight now.
Chuck Taylor would be proud

Thank you for the sweet comments and emails about Emma. She is doing much better now that she is taking antibiotics, and actually she had her first tooth come in today!!!
It’s barely poking out but it’s there. I’ll take a picture once you can see it a little better. So cute.
Today we took Ashton ice skating and she met up with some of her friends from school. It was cute watching them gather together and hobble around on the ice. Emma and Ava had fun watching all the people and when Ashton came past Emma got all excited. It was adorable. They just love when she is around. We got some cute pictures, I uploaded some to flickr, but they all have a copyright thing on them. I hate having to do that but I also hate people using my photos and pretending they are theirs. So, oh well. I added the ones without a copyright to my myspace and will also be adding all of the photos to our family website at the end of the month when I upload the girls photos from this month.
Anyway, after ice skating we walked around a little and of course I had to stop by JC Penney. They were having an awesome clearance sale and I got some Carter’s 12 month shirts for the girls for $1.87 each!!! It was awesome. We also got Ashton a new pair of shoes because she was due for a new pair and she just had to have the ones that were exactly like mine. She’s so cute. I just feel so blessed by how much she looks up to me. I really think I will be able to make a difference in her life because of how much she respects me. It’s not just the shoes, it’s a lot of things. She’s such an awesome kid.
That’s about all we did today. Just hung out and had fun. Tomorrow is church and then Preston has a flight and Ashton goes home. Every Saturday it’s hard to get her to go to sleep because she knows what happens the next day. It’s heart breaking. Anyway, I’m off to go snuggle up with the hubby and watch Good Luck Chuck. ♥

Books
I know I have mentioned this before (and the books have shown up in my sidebar) but I’m reading this Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich and I just love it to bits. I’m on number seven and I’m going to be pretty sad when I’ve caught up to the current book and eventually when the series is done because the books are just so fun. I’m going to need another series to read. I prefer series for some reason. I was looking for a new series to start when I’m done with this one and stumbled on this site that sells Audio Books and Ebooks. They have a ton of books for way cheap. I don’t know if I would like reading an ebook but I do like audio books for the right occasion.
What do you guys like to read? I need some good suggestions for when I’m done with this series. I like mysteries but not ones that are way serious and complex. I don’t want to have to think that much.
Heh just kidding. Really ones that have a funny side is what I mean. So anyway, now I’m going to go take a bath and read because all the munchkins are sound asleep.

I took Emma to the doctor today. She woke up at 7am and had a fever of 103 again. It went down again after having Motrin and then went back up to 103 when we were at the doctor. Basically she has an ear infection in both ears and a very red throat. So that explains why she’s not eating much. He gave her a prescription for both problems and she seems to be feeling better already. The doctor was nice and cut me a break on the cost of the visit since we don’t have insurance right now. And the prescriptions weren’t expensive either so that is a relief.
It’s exhausting when the girls are sick, hopefully Ava won’t get a sore throat too. I can’t wait to get into bed. Ashton is begging me to go play a game with her though so it looks like I won’t be sleeping anytime soon! Such is the life of a mom, right?
Maybe we can make a game of folding the clothes that just got washed and dried. Sounds fun, doesn’t it?
She always likes helping me do chores though so she’d probably think it’s fun! I just did all the laundry but I swear it never ends.
p.s. I answered two more questions! And this was written earlier today, not late like the time says. I just messed something up and had to repost it just now. Oops!

Most of you probably know by now that Preston and I love Vegas. The shows there are amazing. There’s so much to do there but you never have enough time to do everything you want. I like to do a little wishful thinking sometimes and browse what shows are there. So tonight I was checking out what shows will be there this summer and saw Cher tickets for Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, which caught my eye because I thought Celine Dion was at Caesars Palace still. Well apparently Cher has a new show coming soon that is replacing Celine Dion’s show at Caesars Palace. I was actually pretty surprised to hear that because Celine Dion’s show has always been a huge hit. We have wanted to see it but just never got the chance. I guess her contract is over or something. I’m sure the new show with Cher will but just as huge and insanely popular as Celine’s was. How could it not be?! Elton John also performs at Caesars Palace. That would be an amazing show to see as well. And I’ve always wanted to catch Jay Leno but he’s always been there either the day before or the day after we leave!
Anyway, I can’t wait to go to Vegas again. Hopefully we’ll go again this coming summer or fall.

Emma & Ava
I posted a private entry and I would like the advice/opinions/thoughts of friends and family. I also answered a new question on the Q&A page.
Anyway, I’ve been stressing all day. At noon I got Emma up from her nap and she was burning up. Her temp was 103 just out of no where. We gave her Tylenol and I took a cold shower with her and it went down and hovered around 100. She went down for her next nap later and was sleeping at 4pm when I was supposed to give her more Tylenol, but she hadn’t been sleeping very well last night and during the day so I let her sleep and she woke up at 5pm. I took her temp at 5pm and it was 100. She wouldn’t eat any more than 1oz at her 5pm feeding. She was just kind of being fussy and acting sleepy. Then at 6:30 her temp was up to 103. Preston got home right after that and around 7:15pm he called the pediatrician. At 7:15pm her temp was 104. The pedi said to give her Motrin and then call him back with her temp in 45 mins. Preston had to run out and get the Motrin and at 7:30pm when we gave her the Motrin her temp was 105!!!
We gave her the Motrin and her temp quickly went down over the span of 45 mins and was back down to 101 when Preston called the pedi back. Now I just put her down for the night and it’s at 99. I have no clue what is going on with her. She was acting totally normal during the day but then around 6ish is when she started to be really fussy and cried unless I was holding her. Poor thing.
I always get so worried when Emma isn’t feeling well.
We’re supposed to go see the pedi tomorrow just to make sure things are okay. That should be all sorts of fun with no insurance right now. I can’t wait till we have it again in March because we really need it. Figures that one of the girls would need to go during the time we are between insurance.
Anyway, with all of this going on with Emma Preston and I haven’t had dinner yet and I am starving!

I’ve had several people ask me lately how they can make money with their blog, so I made a new page with lots of good resources here. Check it out if you like making money.
There’s links to places for paid blogging and also links for places where you just sell links or put up banners. They are all really good sites though.
Okay time to feed the punkins!
