I’m getting through book eight in the Stephanie Plum series fairly quickly, and after I was done reading last night, I was thinking that these books would make a pretty good movie. But then again, when books get made into movies, the book is almost always better. In Her Shoes, for example. One of my favorite books. I love the movie as well, but the book is so much better. With In Her Shoes, I was really pleased with the actors that were chosen.
So anyway, I started to think about who would I pick if I was going to cast a movie based on the Stephanie Plum books. And, I’m still pondering this because I cannot think of anyone who I think would fit the characters perfectly. It’s one of those silly things you think about and then can’t get out of your head until you figure it out. I guess. That, or I’m just really weird. Please tell me I’m not the only “reader” who thinks about things like this!
Preston brought me home a bag of Sour Patch Kids because I love the red ones. I always pick the red ones out, and the red is always the color that there is the least of. Why do they put so many green and orange ones in the bag? These are the serious things that I ponder about life.
Not only is my tongue feeling a bit raw now, but if I don’t put this bag away I’m going to need some Hydroxycut to get back into my jeans.*
So yah, as you can tell I don’t really have anything awesome to say tonight. I could tell you that I cleaned the house today and the laundry that needs to be folded is haunting me, but then that would be kind of boring. Right? Not that this post in general wasn’t boring or anything…
I hate when I can’t think of anything interesting to say.
*Disclaimer: In an attempt to prevent rumors, I have never and would never take diet pills.

I guess the rights to the first book were sold when the first book came out, but never made into a movie. Janet Evanovich said she’d rather see it as a television series. Janet said when the book first came out she imagined Stephanie as Sandra Bullock, but now she sees her as Anne Hathaway. On her site they’ve done pulls for every character to see who they would be played by. I will now stop my geekery.
