1. I have a “thing” for office supplies. Paper clips, pens, paper, etc. I just love little office things!
2. I’m a bit of a clean freak. I hate when things are messy or cluttered.
3. I dropped out of high school when I was a 17. But I did get my high school diploma when I was 20, by going to college instead.
4. I have a perfect driving record.
5. Since I was little I’ve always had a huge thing with everything being “fair”. It comes with being a Libra. Everything has to be fair.
6. I love tomatoes. Love, love, love them. Anything cooked with tomatoes is usually a favorite of mine, and I absolutely love eating raw tomatoes.
7. My first car was 1984 red/rust colored Subaru hatch back. It was a pile of junk and I LOVED it.
8. My hubby and I share a language of our own.
9. I love South Park. And Family Guy.

Just an FYI: I sat down this week and researched pricing on different boutique items and decided to lower my prices in order to be more competitive. I was charging the same as a lot of other places so I want to have a little bit of an “edge”, ya know?

But that does mean that for everyone who has already bought something, the price may be lower now so I’m totally happy to refund you the difference. Just send me an email!

I am starting to run out of space in my work area! I wish I had my own office still. We are saving our guest room for a baby’s room so I don’t want to move my stuff in there. I need some really good ways to store and organize all my stuff. Right now I have this whole drawer thing full of ribbon but it’s jam packed, I would like a better way to have it all organized. Hmmm. I’m using old baby food jars to keep little embellishments. I knew I kept those jars for a reason!

Anyway, I just sat down here at my cluttered desk and that’s what I was thinking about. I’m going to get off here and watch a movie with the hubby.

Oh before I go, Ava has two new teeth! Now she has 4 on top, for a total of 6 teeth!!! Emma still only has two total. No wonder Ava has been fussy the last couple days!

The girls went to the park for the first time today. They LOVED it! They had soooo much fun swinging. I need to find the closest park to our house because this one was out by Ashton’s mom’s house. We stopped by to play a little after we had dinner with her tonight.

Last night was awful. We woke up at 4am to tornado sirens going off. The second time in what… 2 1/2 weeks?! Last spring/summer I don’t recall them ever going off. This was scary though. Last time we could see the funnel cloud forming but this time it was pitch black, the only time you could see anything was when lightening struck and it was bright and the thunder was LOUD. I’ve really never seen anything like it. Near us there was 87 MPH winds recorded!!!!!! Having a 3 story condo doesn’t exactly make me feel safe as far as tornados go. Especially with the girls on the third floor. I jumped out of bed so fast, pulled my jeans on and ran out the bedroom door and headed up the stairs. My Dad was up also and grabbed one of the girls for me. It was really scary. I do not like tornados. Preston and my brother opened the front door and it was soooo windy. I don’t think I’ve ever felt my heart pound so fast before. It’s not as bad when you can actually see what’s going on but when you are jolted awake at 4am and you can’t see a darn thing… I was freaked out. I hope this happening twice in less than 3 weeks is not an indication of how the spring and summer is going to be. I’m going to need a stronger does of anxiety medication if that’s the case!

Today I feel like I got hit by a train. This is really embarrassing but I have to tell yall! Yesterday I was walking down the stairs holding Emma, we were on our way to WalMart to buy diapers and I was going down the stairs and stepped wrong on one of them and slipped! I fell flat on my ass and bumped down four stairs!!! LOL!!! I laughed but Emma didn’t think it was so funny. She was scared but she didn’t get hurt or anything. My sock was slippery on the carpet and I stepped too far forward on the step. It freaked Preston and my Dad out, they came running to see if we were okay. I’m just so glad I didn’t trip and fall forward. THAT would have been bad. My butt, back, and neck are really sore from it. I felt everything sort of compact when I hit the stair, so I might go see a chiropractor if I don’t feel better soon.

Anyway, that’s me today.

I got all sorts of new yummy spring and summer ribbons in the mail today. I’m so excited! I made some really cute things earlier while the girls were napping that I’ll put up in the boutique tonight. Oh and don’t forget the grand opening sale ends tonight at 8pm CST so you still have time to make an order! Thank you so much to the people who ordered things and helped to spread the word this past week. I’m very pleased with how the first week went.

So, remember that April fools thing? About the blue months? Well, I’m not pregnant. We were hoping I was, but I’m not. I think. I haven’t started yet but the test is negative. I am supposed to start today or tomorrow. I’m basically pretty positive I’m not pregnant. But, September - January are “blue months” again for me, 5 months in a row, so we’ll be trying come September. Who knows if the Chinese Gender Calendar really works… but it’s been proven to be fairly accurate and I want a boy soooo bad that I’m willing to wait until the most “optimal” time. We didn’t really intend on “trying” this month, it was just one little forgetfulness of getting my birth control refilled. Oops! We want another really bad though so maybe it was a subconscious attempt at “trying”.

So for the summer, I’ll be relaxing in my bikini, because I’m down to 128lbs now. Woooooo!
