| What American accent do you have?
Your Result: North Central
“North Central” is what professional linguists call the Minnesota accent. If you saw “Fargo” you probably didn’t think the characters sounded very out of the ordinary. Outsiders probably mistake you for a Canadian a lot. |

Okay, so sometimes I talk funny. I think what got me was the very last question. Yes, I pronounce “bag” in a way that makes it rhyme with “vague”. I do it with all my “ag” words and Preston loves to tease me about it!

I got midland. I didn’t even know what vague was or even how to pronounce it. We were always told we sound like southerners since we end most of ours words in ‘in” instead of “ing” . Oh well

You’re from WA too Jacklyn so maybe it’s a Western-er type thing?
Where are you from Kim?

I got Midland with South coming in a close second. Totally understandable. I really do sound like I have no accent, but at times the “South” really comes out.
The bag and vague thing is so funny. I can catch it easily when I talk to tourists at my bar from up North.

What the heck?? LOL I got Southern!! Which is weird because I lived in NY for 20 years of my life and now Vegas for a few months! However I do adore the southern accent and I am totally obsessed with country music so maybe I’m converting, haha
