Ew ew ew ew ew ew ew!!!!!! I’m doing the heebie jeebie dance right now. I went into Ashton’s bedroom and when I was coming out there was a wasp flying around outside the door. So of course I slammed the door! Then I went through the bathroom into the girls bedroom (luckily they are connected) and went out the balcony door on the 3rd floor to tell Preston to come kill the wasp. He was outside with my brother flying a remote control helicopter, which is now broken. Well I’m not exactly the brightest crayon in the box at times and I left the balcony door open and as I turned around to go in, FOUR wasps flew into the girls bedroom!!! I started freaking out and slammed the door closed. Good thing my brother’s balcony door from his room was unlocked so I was able to go back into the house that way. Anyway, Preston came up and killed the wasps. He’s my hero.
What is it with these wasps?!?!? There must be a nest outside that we don’t know about. We’ve looked all over and haven’t found one yet. Seriously, the wasps have it out for me!!!

Dude. Ick.
We used to get wasps in our house when I was a kid. Getting them out was a whole ordeal - we would have to lure them to the screen door, then close the back door so that the wasp was trapped between the door and the screen, then QUICKLY slide the screen open a few inches without letting the wasp back into the house, then close the door and wait. Seriously… what a pain!
Be careful knocking down the wasps’ nest when you find it. Angry wasps… not cool…

for the record, her brother is the one that crashed the helicopter
and, even with that, the helicopter had a design flaw causing it to rotate too much on liftoff…
