Happy 1st Birthday Emma & Ava!!!!!!!
Wow. I can’t even believe it! My little itty bitty babies are one year old!!! I was going to type quite a bit more this morning but I have to get ready to leave for the weekend. I slept in and now I only have a couple hours to get a bunch of stuff done. So, here’s some pictures instead.
Just a couple hours before delivery, looking huge miserable and awful! LOL!
Emma just seconds after being born! We don’t have a shot of Ava like this. 
Most of the focus was on Emma since we knew she would be so small and possibly have complications.

Emma got taken off to the NICU right away…

Meanwhile, sweet Emma is in the NICU being visited by Daddy frequently. I didn’t get to see her again until I was able to walk. I believe that was the second day…? I don’t remember much.
Well I will post more about their birth later because I realized last night that I never really did post much about the delivery and all of that. Possibly this weekend if I get a chance but if not then Monday. 
I’m so excited, this is going to be a fun weekend!
Anyway, gotta go! I only have a couple hours to get all mine and the girls stuff ready to go!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIRLS!!!
One year ago today, I was braving the horrible Dallas thunderstorms to drive up there.. wow. Sarah, I know you don’t remember, but you actually did see Emma in the NICU the first day… they wheeled you in on your bed. I was with you at the time, and that’s when I saw Emma for the first time.
It’s been a really quick year and I know there’ll be plenty more!
