Filed Under: Building Our House, Life (Or Something Like It)

I’m sooooooooo ready for fall. I can’t wait to wear jeans, sweatshirts, SHOES. I don’t even know when the last time was I actually put shoes on. I’m also looking forward to attending high school football games, watching the leaves change colors, and being able to go outside without getting instantly sticky from the humidity. I think fall is probably my most favorite season. Fall and spring. I like the happy mediums.
It will also be much more pleasant to build when the weather cools down. I don’t expect we’ll start until September. It’s just too hot right now. I’m so excited. I can’t wait to do the inside stuff where we can pick out everything for each room from the flooring to light fixtures.
So, if fall could hurry up and get here, that would be nice.

I know what you mean, it’s been unusually warm around here for the past 3 weeks. I’m ready for sweatshirt weather!

I’ve been visiting your site for some time now, I thought I’d finally say hi. Hi. =) You have a super cute family.

I love fall as well… Spring is ok, but nothing beats fall!!

I agree I am so ready for fall to be here… although the past week all we’ve had has been rain and thunderstorms. So thats been ok too!

I can’t sympathize too much, because I just LOVE being barefoot. I wear flip flops whenever I can, and (yes, I know it’s crazy) I’ve been known to wear flip flops in weather as low as 30 Fahrenheit.

BUT I do agree that it will be nice when this humidity goes away! It is sooooo muggy, and I’m ready to be done with that part of the year!

I feel you on that. I hated summers in Houston, and they’re just as bad here. I love covering up…and the option of wearing boots! Luckily the weather hasn’t been towards the 100’s lately, but 90s feel just as horrible…and the humidity! I bet you didn’t have any of that up in Wash.
