Sarah Palin was so incredible last night, about the only thing the left wing media can dig up is that she used a speechwriter. Big freaking deal! So does Obama. *GASP*
Next please…

Because, we all know I’m a bitch, right, so why does it need to be posted in the comments 5 million times?

oh and now the Obama-Biden ticket promises to pursue Bush for criminal charges… they will spend time and money trying to do so… and denied political motivation… as if to say that doesn’t spur some democrats to think that their vote will also give them retribution into the “crimes” Bush has committed…. protecting our nation is criminal I see… whose side is Obama on????? Let’s incriminate a president for actually BEING a commander in chief and taking on evil and making sure that the USA is protected… wow
September 4th, 2008 at 9:02 pm
She spoke about what conservatives WANT hear and what John McCain stands for.
Please, tell me what she told us about herself in that speech other than the fact that she is a hockey mom and that she “reformed” Alaska?
And no mention of healthcare, women’s rights, gay rights, Afghanistan, education. You know, actual issues! You may like her, but to say that speech had substance is ridiculous.
I respect McCain, but he definitely shot himself in the foot with this choice.
September 4th, 2008 at 9:10 pm
Just as Obama only says was democrats want to hear. It goes both ways ya know.
It’s obvious that liberals are going to attack her and say things like you have about her. She could have addressed every single issue and someone would still have something to say negative about her. That’s just how it is.
September 4th, 2008 at 9:12 pm
I love how she went places against Obama that alot of people are afraid to go. She really was amazing and inspiring. Seeing her pick up her infant son and hold him after her speech brought tears to my eyes. Of course the liberals are going to criticize her every move. The funny thing is, when they are asked tough and legitimate questions about B. Hussein Obama they give the run around with their liberal fluff and BS. Or, my favorite, they give the typical “So? What does that have to do with being a good president?” LOL!
September 4th, 2008 at 9:12 pm
I didn’t even listen to Obama’s speech, by the way. So I really wouldn’t know.
I WAS going to vote for McCain.
Not anymore.
I can’t support a VP candidate who wants to set women back 20 years. What self-respecting female would?!
September 4th, 2008 at 9:14 pm
LOL are you serious? Tell me you’re not serious??? Set women back 20 years??? LMFAO. Mmmmmmk.
September 4th, 2008 at 9:15 pm
She’s anti-gay, anti-social programs, anti-choice, anti-animals, anti-environment, hypocritical
…shall I go on?
September 4th, 2008 at 9:15 pm
I’ve finally been turned off of reading your blog. It’s not, as you are going to think, because I am a liberal and therefore am not able to be reasoned with, but because I really get sick of reading comments by you and your husband that tell me how I am going to think or feel, just because I am a democrat. The same way all republicans think alike, right? You’re right. This is your blog, and you have the right to say whatever you want on it. You can even delete my comment if it offends you. But you alienate a lot of people who might otherwise be interested in hearing your opinions, largely due to the smug way you present them.
September 4th, 2008 at 9:18 pm
Sarah Palin lie #1
She claims she will be an advocate for special needs families in the White House.
Did you know she CUT FUNDING for special needs in Alaska?
September 4th, 2008 at 9:20 pm
LOL and all those things set WOMEN in particular back 20 years? Obviously I don’t agree with you at all… so…. okay.
Toughen up Katya. Like I’m the only one who generalizes liberals because they tend to all think alike… if they didn’t think alike well then, obviously no one would generalize them. Just the way people generalize republicans and any other group of people who think alike. Seriously, if you can’t understand the reason why PEOPLE, not just me, make generalizations, then uh… I’m truly sorry to have offended you. If you have been offended here already, you’ll most likely continue to be offended here. It would be best for someone as sensitive as you portray yourself to be to just not visit blogs like mine from now on.
September 4th, 2008 at 9:22 pm
Nellie: because someone is against gay marriage doesn’t mean they’re anti gay. What social programs?? Raising taxes to pay for poor lazy people? Most conservatives are pro life. Not all. Anti animals and anti environment because she wants to drill? Let me guess, she’s hypocritical because her daughter is pregnant? She’d be hypocritical if she wanted her daughter to abort her child.
…shall I go on?
September 4th, 2008 at 9:29 pm
Can you imagine the looks on the faces of the democrats when everyone started cheering “DRILL BABY DRILL!!!!!!!!” Hahahahahahaha
I’m going out with the hubbin now. Bye!
September 4th, 2008 at 9:36 pm
I just wanted to say that you should impliment people having to be registered and approved to comment on all of your posts
I am surprised you didn’t do this earlier.
HEHEHEHE

I think it’s so odd that a lot of people say she’s a hypocrite because her daughter is pregnant & she has values she cannot push onto her own daughter. But to me, it shows that she is human & can relate to teenagers that DO get into trouble because they don’t make the right choices - it shows an alternative to what you can do if you do become pregnant - have the baby. I think it supports her platform more than destroys it.
I think she’s a good speaker, she’s very attractive, she has some experience & she’s interesting - she is also Conservative but not extremely so and I think they picked her as a tactical move - it stole the attention away from Obama (and it has remained off of him) and it gave women voters another chance to put a woman into office - even if she *is* a traditional woman / hockey mom. These people neglect to mention that she’s also a hard-working government official.
People are going to be so surprised this election. I think everyone was certain Obama was going to win but they simply don’t study statistics and realize that all these young people Obama is targeting - DO. NOT. VOTE… they don’t vote PERIOD. Statistically for years & years & years. They are lazy. They don’t care. They’re misinformed. They don’t vote.
And thank God for that because they get all their facts from MTV, anyway…
September 4th, 2008 at 10:55 pm
Well, you do have to be logged into to comment on all posts from now on. I don’t know why I didn’t make it like that sooner.
Kalen you are soooo right! I luff you.

Nellie, setting women back 20 years is hardly what would come of someone who wants people to be RESPONSIBLE for their lives….and HOW can a woman even step foot in positions she has, in office, and set women back 20 years? I think because she appears to be a woman that has a husband that she looks UP to, and adores, and loves, and isn’t single and bitchy, she somehow gives off the impression that she wants women to feel like they are incapable.
Katya, you can’t seriously believe that Sarah is unfair in her generalizations. I’m sorry, but if I vote Republican, I am COMPLETELY willing to accept anyone generalizing me as such. I am okay with the fact that I may not agree with every last thing another Republican agrees with, but if you were to generalize me, I’d understand why. Not to mention the fact that NOBODY is pretending to tell you how you are going to think or feel. If you came to me and said “I’m a democrat” I’d be led to believe that you are pro-abortion (pro-choice?), pro-environment, pro-big government, pro-social dependency programs (I say dependent because democrats are popular in minorities who are dependent on the government to help them do things like buy cheese and milk… and guess what? I have in my lifetime needed gov’t assistance…. ) Pro-weakness (cutting back our military when we need it the most), Pro-european (we need to be popular with Europe, so we can be controlled by them too), Pro-backwards… (because when they speak to one group, then they go speak to the opposing group, they change their stance, like its clockwork… just like Palin said, McCain you can bet is going to be the same man wherever he speaks, unlike Obama who shifts his ideas around like a scrabble board trying to score the high word scores)…..
Democrats, I do not judge on an individual basis. I just believe that Democrats stand for the very things that will make our country fail at being what everyone likes about America. Freedom will fleet because we’ll get our asses handed to us by TERRORISTS that WANT Obama to be elected… shouldn’t that be alarming? Doesn’t it raise a flag or two when Terrorist organizations ARE HAPPY with a candidate? wow…
September 4th, 2008 at 11:59 pm
It’s sad its come to you having require log ins. I don’t agree with your political stance SO I DON’T COMMENT. It’s not hard. I guess not everyone is looking for drama? =P
September 5th, 2008 at 2:22 pm
Sorry, I just really had to comment on this one..
In response to Preston’s comment:
“I just believe that Democrats stand for the very things that will make our country fail at being what everyone likes about America. Freedom will fleet because we’ll get our asses handed to us by TERRORISTS that WANT Obama to be elected”
—–
What everyone likes is JUSTICE, FREEDOM & the PROTECTION of HUMAN RIGHTS. And you said that “freedom will fleet b/c we’ll get out assess handed to us by terrorists…” Um, wait a second, is there really a thing as FREEDOM in America?
The Bush administration captured and detained a 15 year old Canadian boy, Omar Khadr, sent him to Guantanamo Bay where he has been tortured and fail to have a proper fair trial.
#1. Guantanamo Bay is illegal.
#2. Torture is illegal. (IE: Waterboarding, which Bush promotes).
#3. Detaining a child is illegal. And so is keeping the child from their guardians/lawyers.
#4. Military tribunals are illegal
But you know, freedom will fleet because of terrorists? ….Freedom is already on the decline, and partly due to the Bush administration.
September 5th, 2008 at 2:35 pm
I guess he shouldn’t have been in Afghanistan fighting WITH terrorists AGAINST Americans.
“Born into a fundamentalist Muslim family in Toronto, he had been prepared for jihad since he was a small boy. His parents, who were Egyptian and Palestinian, had raised him to believe that religious martyrdom was the highest achievement he could aspire to. In the Khadr family, suicide bombers were spoken of with great respect. According to U.S intelligence, Omar’s father used charities as front groups to raise and launder money for Al Qaeda. Omar’s formal military training — bombmaking, assault-rifle marksmanship, combat tactics — before he turned twelve. For nearly a year before the Ab Khail siege, according to the U.S. government, Omar and his father and brothers had fought with the Taliban against American and Northern Alliance forces in Afghanistan. Before that, they had been living in Jalalabad, with Osama bin Laden. Omar spent much of his adolescence in Al Qaeda compounds.”
Oh yah, I feel REALLY BAD FOR HIM.
September 5th, 2008 at 3:02 pm
Sarah, under international law, its ILLEGAL.
And Omar was forced into this training and such. As you just said, he was 12 YEARS OLD!
So you should torture and prosecute a little boy who fall into the hands of gorilla/rebel forces? Looks like we should just capture and torture millions of young children from Africa and Burma as well!!! YAY.
And that doesn’t even matter… The U.S captured and tortured many other individuals, many being children. Are they terrorists? Some are, some are NOT. The U.S however, keeps torturing these suspects and won’t allow trials to go ahead (lets not talk about fair trials).
Ignorance is really a bliss I guess.
September 5th, 2008 at 3:11 pm
Okay, so, because he was 15 years old (when he was captured), he should just be released and allowed to go back to his family, the very people who taught him these things, and then what? You think he’s going to be like “Oh, terrorists are bad, I’m not a terrorist anymore” and start being some happy Canadian??? HELL NO. He will fall right back into terrorism.
And now you say I’m ignorant… for what? Because you don’t agree with me? I would have expected you to be better than that. I guess you proved me wrong. Before you go calling me ignorant, why don’t you try RESEARCHING. Many, many, many of the people being held at Guantanamo Bay are still there because their countries DO NOT WANT THEM BACK. Just because you are a Canadian political science major, does not mean you know what you are talking about 100% of the time in regards to American politics. Or any politics at that. It’s so funny to me how young people become political science majors and then think they know it all when it comes to any political discussion.
End of discussion.
Now go post on your own blog (again) about how wrong you think I am. It’s really funny how many people’s skin I’ve gotten under.
