I’m getting through book eight in the Stephanie Plum series fairly quickly, and after I was done reading last night, I was thinking that these books would make a pretty good movie. But then again, when books get made into movies, the book is almost always better. In Her Shoes, for example. One of my favorite books. I love the movie as well, but the book is so much better. With In Her Shoes, I was really pleased with the actors that were chosen.
So anyway, I started to think about who would I pick if I was going to cast a movie based on the Stephanie Plum books. And, I’m still pondering this because I cannot think of anyone who I think would fit the characters perfectly. It’s one of those silly things you think about and then can’t get out of your head until you figure it out. I guess. That, or I’m just really weird. Please tell me I’m not the only “reader” who thinks about things like this!
Preston brought me home a bag of Sour Patch Kids because I love the red ones. I always pick the red ones out, and the red is always the color that there is the least of. Why do they put so many green and orange ones in the bag? These are the serious things that I ponder about life. Not only is my tongue feeling a bit raw now, but if I don’t put this bag away I’m going to need some Hydroxycut to get back into my jeans.*
So yah, as you can tell I don’t really have anything awesome to say tonight. I could tell you that I cleaned the house today and the laundry that needs to be folded is haunting me, but then that would be kind of boring. Right? Not that this post in general wasn’t boring or anything…
I hate when I can’t think of anything interesting to say.

*Disclaimer: In an attempt to prevent rumors, I have never and would never take diet pills.

I had to repost this from Kalen’s site. It’s so perfectly said. Please don’t badger me with non-peaceful anti-war comments. I’ve heard it all before and you won’t change my opinions. But we can still be friends, even if you don’t agree with my political views.

I just wanted to let you guys know that I’m still trying to get back to all my emails. I’m not approving any more requests for private entry access at this time, unless I already know you.

Anyway, it’s been a long day for me. The girls have not wanted to sleep at all, even though they are extremely tired. They have both been screaming because they are tired but don’t want to sleep. They haven’t had a nap since this morning, but they are finally down right now. I’ll have to wake them up around 8-8:30pm to give them their last bottle and a bath. Some days they just get like this where they want to stay up all day and other days they want to sleep all day. I think they both might be getting another tooth coming in.

I finally finished Seven Up last night. It’s taken me so long because I wasn’t reading as much but once I started again it went by fast. I saw on Amazon that Fearless Fourteen will be out this summer. I better get to reading so I can catch up.

I told myself I was going to clean the master bathroom today and I still haven’t done it yet, so I better go do that while I’m thinking about it. I hate cleaning the bathroom. Even more than vacuuming the stairs. Which doesn’t work out so well since the people who built this condo thought it was necessary to have five bathrooms. Bleh.

Oh and if you’re in the market for small business phone systems, there’s a link for you.

Also, my friend Kalen has a lyrics site she’s working on, it’s really awesome so far so go check it out and add some lyrics: luvlyrics.com. You can even win prizes!

I know I have mentioned this before (and the books have shown up in my sidebar) but I’m reading this Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich and I just love it to bits. I’m on number seven and I’m going to be pretty sad when I’ve caught up to the current book and eventually when the series is done because the books are just so fun. I’m going to need another series to read. I prefer series for some reason. I was looking for a new series to start when I’m done with this one and stumbled on this site that sells Audio Books and Ebooks. They have a ton of books for way cheap. I don’t know if I would like reading an ebook but I do like audio books for the right occasion.

What do you guys like to read? I need some good suggestions for when I’m done with this series. I like mysteries but not ones that are way serious and complex. I don’t want to have to think that much. Heh just kidding. Really ones that have a funny side is what I mean. So anyway, now I’m going to go take a bath and read because all the munchkins are sound asleep.

Have I ever told you how much I just love ebay? Probably only 100 times right? The girls are quickly out growing their clothes, right now they have a small collection of things that fit well, so it was my plan to buy them some new stuff off ebay after selling their old stuff on ebay. Sooo, that’s what I’ve been doing tonight. I’m getting some really good deals on adorable stuff. I love it. I can’t believe how much money I’ve spent buying things brand new, only for them to out grow it in a couple months. A lot of the stuff I’ve bought tonight is new with tags. Score! I just love a bargain. I’m going to save a little from what I sold and get some Carter’s bodysuits and pants at JC Penney though. You know the Carter’s 5 pack bodysuits and pants? They are so soft and comfy (I assume they’re comfy… I guess I don’t really know! LOL! ) I love those things. Obviously. The thing I love the most about Carter’s (besides it being some of the cutest stuff on the planet) is that you can wash the clothes over and over and they still look brand new. They seriously never show wear.

Anyway, I’ve been neglecting my tub lately and in turn neglecting my reading so I think I’m going to take a nice hot bath. I’m on book 7 in the series I’m reading and I’ve been wondering what’s going to happen next, I just haven’t made time for reading like I need to. This is such a good series. I recommend it highly. (Link over on the right if you are interested.)

I think Emma and Ava must be going through a growth spurt. Both of them just want to eat and sleep the last couple days. They haven’t been wanting to stay awake for more than an hour at a time. It’s funny, I’ll put them down for the night and the next morning they’ll look bigger! I think I’m actually going to have to move them up to 3 month size clothes soon. Wooo! They are still in NB sizes right now. Ava will need the next size before Emma will, but Emma isn’t far behind. Gosh they’re so cute! I can’t even handle it.

Last night I finished Two for the Dough by Janet Evanovich and started Three to Get Deadly. These books are so good! I’m breezing through them because I just can’t put them down. I passed off the first one, One for the Money, to my mom and she finished it in just a few hours. Good books. I’m addicted to them, thanks to my friend Jennifer. She was reading one when she was here and got me interested.

I’m so glad tomorrow is Saturday. Preston is flying earlier in the day, then we have church ♥ in the evening, and then our at home date night. We have made Saturdays our official date night. Sometimes we go out but lately we have been staying home and watching movies. We spend a lot of time together anyway but it’s nice to have one night every week to look forward to. Which reminds me, I need to buy some wine glasses tomorrow. My aunt gave us two bottle of red wine that I’ve been wanting to try. My family lives in wine country so I figure it’s time I finally give wine a shot.

Well, the little angels are soundly asleep so I’m getting in the bath to relax and read.
