I got all sorts of new yummy spring and summer ribbons in the mail today. I’m so excited! I made some really cute things earlier while the girls were napping that I’ll put up in the boutique tonight. Oh and don’t forget the grand opening sale ends tonight at 8pm CST so you still have time to make an order! Thank you so much to the people who ordered things and helped to spread the word this past week. I’m very pleased with how the first week went.

So, remember that April fools thing? About the blue months? Well, I’m not pregnant. We were hoping I was, but I’m not. I think. I haven’t started yet but the test is negative. I am supposed to start today or tomorrow. I’m basically pretty positive I’m not pregnant. But, September - January are “blue months” again for me, 5 months in a row, so we’ll be trying come September. Who knows if the Chinese Gender Calendar really works… but it’s been proven to be fairly accurate and I want a boy soooo bad that I’m willing to wait until the most “optimal” time. We didn’t really intend on “trying” this month, it was just one little forgetfulness of getting my birth control refilled. Oops! We want another really bad though so maybe it was a subconscious attempt at “trying”.

So for the summer, I’ll be relaxing in my bikini, because I’m down to 128lbs now. Woooooo!

Ashton is here for the day (9 whole hours, wow! lol) and the girls were soooo excited to see her. They have been playing all morning and now Emma and Ava are out. Ava fell asleep on her back, which she never does, still holding her bottle. She’s precious.

So I’m thinking it will be probably a week before the boutique opens. Thank you so much to everyone for the support! I have figured out how I’m going to ship things so I need to order the supplies, that’s all I’m really waiting on. And for the business cards to get in. I’m so excited! I’m going to have a grand opening sale so you’ll want to keep your eye open for the launch date!

Geez, I was just looking at the calendar and I cannot believe how fast March went by!!! Tomorrow my lil babies are 10 months old! CRAZY. I really need to get them in for a check up now that the insurance is active again. Gotta do that next week for sure. They are getting so big. I was at the craft store the other day and the lady checking me out guessed that they were 18 months old!!! I’m like uh, no. Everyone comments on how big they are but really they are pip-squeaks compared to others their age. They just now are out growing 9mo sized clothes. Emma can even wear some 6mo still. I think having them in the stroller without the carriers makes them look bigger or something.

Well anyway, better get off here and go hang out with the family! Also, Franke sinks are pretty nice. lol

It’s so nice to have Preston back home! The girls were soooooooo excited to see him this morning. It was the sweetest thing ever.

So my dad is down here for a little bit. It’s nice having him around. The girls have already warmed up to him so that’s good. The last time they saw him was when they were 3 months old. We went out and did a little shopping today, that’s about it. Now I’m going to go finish dinner! Here’s a couple cute pictures to make this post more interesting!

My baby boutique is almost ready to be open! I can’t wait!

P.S. Here is a good site for travel supplies like tsa locks and other useful stuff. The thing I love the most about having a husband who is a pilot - no going through security checks!

While we were at Ashton’s school choir performance last night, I noticed that Ava’s two top front teeth have broken through! AWW! They are so stinkin’ cute! You can’t really see them well enough yet for a photo but once they are out further, you’ll be able to delight in the cuteness. I still haven’t really been able to get a good photo of Emma’s two bottom teeth that she’s had for a while now. Apparently she’s not too fond of having a camera in her mouth.

Ashton’s performance was a total overload of adorableness. Little kids singing is one of the best things ever. Preston got some good video of her singing. I will most likely post some of the video later tonight.

For now, I am going to attempt to get something done while the girls are finally napping. (Thank you Lord!)

Ashton is here this weekend and she went up for her first flight with Daddy tonight. She absolutely loved it! She actually got to fly the plane all by herself for a couple minutes (with Preston’s hands .5 of a centimeter from his controls of course) and she did awesome according to Preston and my brother. She’s anxious for the next time she gets to go up. Here’s a cute picture of her waiting before take off:

I’ve been playing around with themes tonight for my review site, but so far nothing has come to me. I tried looking for a good pre-made theme but I didn’t find any that I liked and normally I would just make my own but I’m so unmotivated to sit here for hours tonight and bust out a theme. Mostly because I know that when I start a theme, I don’t stop until it’s done and perfect. I’m way too tired for that tonight. Maybe I’ll work on something tomorrow. I want to get it up though so I can start doing paid posts and other kinds of reviews over there instead of here.

Well, I’m off to see what the hubby is up to!

This just cracks me up! Emma is such a goof ball and Ava is busy trying to figure out what the camera is!

Preston and Catlin (my brother) went to Walmart. They bought Lego fruit snacks, and Catlin says, “I wonder if they work like real Legos.”

They get home and Preston opens a package and starts to eat his Lego fruit snacks. Catlin asks, “So do they work like real Legos?”

And Preston replies, “I don’t know, I’m just eating mine.”

And Catlin, dead serious says, “What, you don’t even care if they work like real Legos, man?”

Have you ever seen The Big Lebowski? My brother is a 20 year old version of The Dude. Except he doesn’t drink white russians. And no one peed on his rug.

Yesterday we spent the day at Grandma’s house. It was fun, a nice relaxing break. I really like it out there because it’s so peaceful. I promise you one day you will be reading about us moving out away from the city to live on a piece of land out where it’s nice and quiet. Out where they aren’t putting a new shopping center on every corner. Yep. Some day.

While we were at Grandmas, Preston and I decided to take a walk back in the woods, just the two of us. As we were getting deeper into the woods we came across this friendly sign:

But you know what? We decided to live life on the wild side and proceed anyway. It’s really pretty back there. I am looking forward to taking a walk back there again during the Spring/Summer when the trees and fields are full. Anyway, gotta to feed the munchkins and then get ready to take Ashton back to her mother’s house.
