Holy moly the girls are 11 months old today!!! I’m going to be so sad next month on their 1st birthday. But you know, a happy kind of sad. Their party is going to be so much fun! I cannot wait! It’s going to be at Preston’s parents house and everyone is going to be there. My parents, brother, sister, and her two boys will be living down here by then too so it’s really just going to be a lot of fun.
Hopefully Ashton will be allowed to go… but we’ll see. We’re going down there that Friday and not coming back until Sunday, so it’ll be a whole weekend type thing. Basically, I’m really looking forward to it!
So yesterday my Dad and brother flew back to WA to help my Mom get the house ready to sell. My Dad and brother will be back in two weeks, and then my Mom and sister will be here shortly after that. My parents decided to move down here and my sister and her boys are coming along too. It’s going to be really nice to have them closer!
Preston started tearing his office apart yesterday because he wanted to rearrange it. So, while he was doing that it gave me the urge to do some serious spring cleaning. I did the kitchen, breakfast area, and downstairs living room yesterday and it is sparkling. Seriously, if you saw it your eyes would hurt from how shiny it is. Today I’ll probably tackle the dinning room, 1st floor bathroom, and the entry way. Although I really don’t like to clean, it’s very satisfying to see the extremely clean kitchen every time I go down stairs. I keep a clean house, but this is like a whole new level of clean. Seriously. Spring cleaning. Try it.
Okay I need to get off here and work on some orders but I may need a Pepsi for energy in order to get through them. I have a headache today and working with small objects while you have a headache is not something I would advise. I think it’s a “lack of caffeine headache”. I probably need drug rehab for caffeine addiction.

Well we aren’t going to Preston’s parents today after all because his mom is coming down with something.
Hopefully she will start feeling better soon.
So today I’m cleaning house instead. Don’t you love how you clean the house and then it always seems to get messed up again as soon as you leave the room? Seriously, I will clean off the dinning room table and then the next time I come down stairs there is stuff all over it again. Mail, shopping bags, keys, cups, burp rags, toys, bottles… The dinning room table is one area I just cannot keep clean. I think it’s because right when you walk in the front door the dinning room is right there to the right. So it’s this area that collects everything.
Today I’m also planning on finding spots to hang photos and some engraved plaques. I have this really neat thing planned for above the fire place. I can’t wait to do it. It’s going to be very similar to this. I just need to find the perfect photos.
Anyway, someone is fussing, better go see what’s up!
If I had 3 wishes

If I somehow happened to stumble across a genie in a cute little lamp, and he was all, “Hey guess what you get 3 wishes! Cool huh?” I’d be all, “Wow sweet, just what I needed!” And I would proceed to wish for these 3 things:
#1 - 10 million dollars. Most people would say “a million dollars” but I say, why stop at one when you can have 10? How many times in your life would you have the chance for 3 wishes, seize the opportunity while it’s there, ya know?
#2 - That chores around the house would always do themselves. Laundry would wash, dry, fold, and put its self away. Dishes would wash themselves, etc.
#3 - My final wish would be. . . a wish that cannot be said to anyone but the genie.
When we had our Direct TV installed, it was really windy that day and so every time the door got opened dirt and leaves would come in the door, and then get tracked up the stairs. Then with the guy coming in and out of the attic, I have some serious vacuuming to do. I’m not looking forward to it at all. I did get a new light weight vacuum for Christmas so it won’t be as bad as it used to be but come on, who really ever wants to vacuum 3 floors and 3 flights of stairs?
So, I’m cleaning the house today and I’m trying to find out what to do with this pool ball rack that we have, because we don’t have our pool table anymore. So why would we need a pool ball rack? Our pool table wouldn’t fit anywhere in the condo so we had to give it away. Anyway, I need to go finish the house up. I’m wasting time online because I’m dreading the whole vacuum thing.
Christmas decorations

I’m sad that it’s almost time to take down our Christmas decorations. I love having all the Christmas lights up. We tried out the LED string lights this year, they are supposed to save energy. There’s just something about the cozy glow of the white Christmas lights that I love. It makes the house not so “blah”, ya know? We have some pretty cool lighting in our new place though. I’m wanting to change out all the bulbs to ones that save energy. We cut our electric bill more than in half when we moved but maybe switching bulbs will help even more? I bet we could come up with something creative to do with the LED Christmas lights… maybe put them in the entertainment room or on one of the balconies for when we sit out there. I went to a wedding recently where they used white Christmas lights, it was so pretty. If you have the LED kind you can get all creative and keep them out all year long if you wanted, seeings as they last 50,000 hours!
We decorated for Christmas right after we moved in here so we haven’t lived in this place without the Christmas decorations up. I bet it’s going to look pretty bare when we take everything down. Guess that means I’ll have to start a “home decor” savings fund too! I would love to make some things for around the house. That would be way better than buying random stuff. I’ve really wanted to start making flower arrangements. Maybe I’ll learn how to do that soon.
Anyway, I’m going to bed!
clean!

Oh my gosh. I never want to clean again. It’s not so bad when you break it up but I just vacuumed and swept every floor in this place without taking a break. Carrying a vacuum up three flights of stairs while you’re vacuuming the stairs, really is not fun at all. But hey, maybe I got in a good workout today so I won’t need to buy hoodia diet pills to lose these last 4 lbs.
Seriously though I am completely done with the whole house and now I plan on not doing a darn thing all this coming week.
I need to find my paper cutter so I can get these photos ready to send out. They won’t get to anyone before Christmas, but I already knew they wouldn’t before we had them taken. I want to send some of them with frames so I’m hoping to get some good deals on frames after Christmas. Anyway, I need a shower! And food.

Well, we are moving today! We go and pick up the keys at noon. I stayed up late packing but I still have a little more to do. I can’t wait to get this over with though. I’ll say it over and over again, I hate moving. It’s going to be fun for Preston and TJ to carry stuff up to the third floor! Some stuff will be interesting to watch them move… Workout equipment is always interesting to see… like ellipticals and work out benches. The ellipitcal is really hard because it’s oddly shaped and kind of tall. Good thing it’s only going on the second floor though. And I always get nervous when the TV gets moved. I just picture it being dropped down a flight of stairs. That would suck so bad! Nah, they are really good at moving though. Hey, you’d have to be good at moving by now considering how many times we have moved so far!
Pretty soon we’ll be catching up to my Grandma or Preston’s sister. Teasing.
Really though my Grandma has moved something like 28 times. She’s even stayed in places a shorter amount of time than that one house Preston and I moved into. So, if you think we move a lot… we’re not even close to my sweet Grandma! Seriously though, we can’t get a better lease payment than this for the space we want so we’re not going anywhere for the next year or more.
Preston is watching a movie with Ashton right now at her house so once he gets back we’re going to get the keys. She had her tonsils out yesterday. She’s doing pretty well. She just wants to be here with her Daddy, so since she can’t be, he went to watch a movie with her. She’s a sweetie pie.
Anyway, I still have some things to do so I better get my butt off the computer.
