While we were at Ashton’s school choir performance last night, I noticed that Ava’s two top front teeth have broken through! AWW! They are so stinkin’ cute! You can’t really see them well enough yet for a photo but once they are out further, you’ll be able to delight in the cuteness. I still haven’t really been able to get a good photo of Emma’s two bottom teeth that she’s had for a while now. Apparently she’s not too fond of having a camera in her mouth.
Ashton’s performance was a total overload of adorableness. Little kids singing is one of the best things ever. Preston got some good video of her singing. I will most likely post some of the video later tonight.
For now, I am going to attempt to get something done while the girls are finally napping. (Thank you Lord!)
p.s. Please visit my new review site: My Little Review! It’s brand new so there is not much there yet but pleeeeeease visit and add it to your links!

I just looooove being able to hop in the plane and go some where fast! Today we decided to go have dinner with Preston’s parents. Normally this would be an all day thing because it’s a 3 hour drive each direction to drive to his parents house. Well, now that Preston has his pilots license, we can drive to the local airport (10 min drive, no security checks, etc. ) hop in the plane and be at his parents house in 40 minutes each way. It is AWESOME. The only down side is that obviously it cost money to rent a plane, but right now while Preston is in school, he needs to build his cross country hours as part of his next certification and so it’s already paid for.
Flying in a small plane is nothing like flying in an airliner. You don’t have to go through security stuff, check baggage, sit in a squished seat rubbing shoulders with strangers… not to mention the whole feel of the flight is totally different. It’s just so amazing. The babies did great today when we flew to visit Grandma and Papa. Preston and Ashton were in the front and I sat in the back seat with one of the babies in a car seat and one on my lap. They took turns, one got to ride on my lap the way down and the other the way home. They were just in awe looking out the window, they had a blast. There were a couple times when we were descending where their ears hurt a little but other than that they did really well.
In May we are flying up to WA to visit my family for the girls 1st birthday. I can’t wait! Preston will be flying us and normally it’s a huge ordeal to fly up there. We spend a bunch on airline tickets, getting the girls through security was a head ache, waiting at the airport, the flight is uncomfortable and 4 hours non stop. Then when we arrive in Seattle, we have to then drive 6 hours east to get to my parents house! But, with Preston flying we just hop in the plane and fly right into the local airport in my parents town. It will obviously take longer in a small plane but it will be so much fun. Like a road trip but better. So much better. The cost will be less to rent a plane for that time (we can’t use Preston’s school money for that trip) than it would be to buy airline tickets and rent a car to drive. No more spending hours online looking for the best travel deals!
Can you tell I’m lovin’ this husband as a pilot thing?
He’s awesome.

Ashton is here this weekend and she went up for her first flight with Daddy tonight. She absolutely loved it! She actually got to fly the plane all by herself for a couple minutes (with Preston’s hands .5 of a centimeter from his controls of course) and she did awesome according to Preston and my brother. She’s anxious for the next time she gets to go up.
Here’s a cute picture of her waiting before take off:
I’ve been playing around with themes tonight for my review site, but so far nothing has come to me. I tried looking for a good pre-made theme but I didn’t find any that I liked and normally I would just make my own but I’m so unmotivated to sit here for hours tonight and bust out a theme. Mostly because I know that when I start a theme, I don’t stop until it’s done and perfect. I’m way too tired for that tonight. Maybe I’ll work on something tomorrow. I want to get it up though so I can start doing paid posts and other kinds of reviews over there instead of here.
Well, I’m off to see what the hubby is up to!

Ava has discovered how fun it is to shriek as loud as possible. Emma thinks its funny and so she’ll scream back at her and then they go back and forth shrieking and screaming. I on the other hand, do not think it’s so funny. I just put them down for a nap and my ears are ringing.
I’m going to go ahead and say that they are 9 months old today, since there is no 30th this month. They are so big!
Ava is starting to pull up on things so I think we’re going to have to lower their cribs soon. I’ll post some cute 9 month pictures of them later tonight.
Well, Grandma will be here this weekend so I better go finish that laundry. Preston flew down to pick her up and bring her here for the weekend. He has to do time building for his next certification so he’s been having a lot of fun flying as a “real” pilot the last couple days.
I’m going up with him for the first time tomorrow. I’m excited!
Just as a little side note, I love looking at the search engine hits I get. I always get a little suspicious when I see people searching for mine and Preston’s names though. Anyway, I saw “movers New York” just a minute ago and was like huh? But I guess it came from a post I did a while back. I thought this search result was kinda funny “photo small little less girls”. Someone is searching google for my email address and screen names too. Weirdos. And, I seriously got a kick out of this one “do identical twins have exactly same jeans”. Ha.

Happy Valentine’s Day!!!!!!!!
I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday. I’ve always thought Valentine’s Day was kind of overrated but I will admit it can be fun. We’re just spending the day with the girls and then tonight after they are in bed we are going to have our little Valentine’s Day time together. We’re going out to see Definitely, Maybe. It looks super cute.
Preston says thanks for the birthday wishes! He also had his last flight with his school yesterday and did great on that so he’s graduated now! Next Thursday he has his final test with an FAA examiner and then he has his private pilots license!
YAY!
