Today I’m making a light box to take photos of my products. I hate the shadows I always end up with so I’m going to give this a try. It’s super cheap and it looks like it’ll work pretty well for what I’m doing.
One thing I love the most about my newest cell phone is that I can get online and actually do useful things. My past phones haven’t had a fully capable web browser but this one does. Before I left for the store to get the supplies to make this light box, I forgot to transfer money from one of my Checking Accounts to the other, so I was able to do it on my cell phone while waiting in line. Sweet! It’s so convenient. Seriously, what did anyone do without the internet and cell phones?
My new goal is to take better photos. I have a Digital Rebel XT and I know that I don’t even come close to using it how I could. Preston is really good with the camera but I need to learn how to use mine better. We each have the same camera because we each had one before we met. He has a better lens though… I need to borrow it more. Usually I just pick up the camera and shoot away and change things without knowing what I’m doing and eventually something turns out alright. I usually have to brighten things up though so Preston is going to teach me how to use my flash. I have an external flash that attaches to the camera, not the flash that is included on the camera.
I came across this while browsing one of my favorite scrapbooking websites: 12 Weeks to Better Photos. It might come in handy for some of you, even if you don’t scrapbook. It’s better than reading a boring camera manual too!
Anyway, I have to help Preston locate some missing HDMI cables. I love finding missing things. (No, actually I don’t.)
