It’s been raining all day and I love it. I’ve missed the rain. Maybe fall is finally on it’s way?
On the topic of fall, I have so many cute ideas for Halloween costumes. I just have to get to making them. Some might not work out for this Halloween… I’m not sure I’ll get them made in time. They are pretty elaborate. I can’t tell you just yet what they are…
I’ll give you a hint… you child could wear it for Halloween… or it would be appropriate on one of those fun Disney cruises. They each involve lots and lots of tulle and ribbon. Hehe…
Are there any other mommies that come here that just love Gymboree stuff? I happen to adore Gymboree, as well as Baby Gap. I would buy every single thing of theirs if I could. Anyway, Gymboree launched a new line today and it’s SO CUTE. Seriously. I mean just look:
I love the brown! I can’t wait until the girls are old enough to justify buying clothes that cute (and expensive). Right now all they do is play all day, usually at home, so there’s not much point in spending so much on clothes when I’m usually the only one who gets to bask in their adorableness (with the exception of family and trips to the store). This is a lesson I have learned. Don’t spend so much money on baby clothes. They already have way too many clothes than they could ever possibly wear.
I Dare you.

The last few days have been not so fun. I’ve been trying to help Preston get the house packed and ended up getting sick. I don’t know what is up but I’m so sick of getting sick! It seems like the girls and I keep getting sick! UGH! Mine could partially be due to stress. I’m not good with stress, I get sick easily when I’m stressed out and trust me, trying to go from a 3 story condo to a little cabin and having to decide what you need for the next 6-8 months is stressful! So for the last few days I was fine if I was laying down but the moment I got up I would feel extremely nauseous. Unfortunately, I did end up throwing up. I hate throwing up. If it had been one week later I would have been convinced I was pregnant.
So since I was sick and therefore useless, Preston suggested I come on down to the cabin early and let him finish up the packing and moving, so that’s what I did. I’m down here now to stay. Woohoo! He should be here in a few days, I hope. He was so sweet and flew down here to bring me flowers last night when I was sick.
So, not much else has been happening. I did get a new cell phone! I love when I am eligible for a new cell phone. I got the LG Dare and I love it! Of course it’s being called an iPhone clone, which is kind of silly to me. Yes, they are similar but when you actually get your hands on each of the phones, they are quite different. Being an Apple lover, I would of course love to have an iPhone, but nothing could make me switch to AT&T. Nothing. Not even a sexy iPhone. I’ve had nothing but issues with AT&T when I’ve had to use them in the past. On the topic of phones, here is a nice Nokia N82 Silver.
Well I guess I’m going to go read and get to bed early. I have a pounding head ache. The girls are in this clingy separation anxiety phase right now and I can’t even get two feet away from them without them going ballistic. So needless to say, I have a head ache from all the screaming. I need to get up at a decent time tomorrow and work on some orders that have come in for my boutique. It seems like I always get the most orders when I am the busiest with other things! I like it though.
So if you have ordered something, it’s on the way soon!
Portable Crib

Have any of you readers used a portable crib for your baby? We are wanting to get some portable cribs for the cabin at Grandma’s house. I am considering these but I am not sure how long they will last, size wise. It says that it fits up to 24 months but I’m not sure what weight limit they are assuming that would be.
Right now we are using the pack ‘n plays for travel and at Grandma’s but the problem I am having with them is that the girls stand on the end of the pad and it’s starting to bend. Emma weighs 19lbs after being sick, almost to 20lbs again, and Ava is 21lbs. So, I’m wondering how long these portable cribs might be useful. The pack ‘n play pads are not very sturdy, I think it’s padded cardboard or something? And these have a particle board base and a mattress.
Anyway, just curious if anyone has any insight?

I forgot to mention, my boutique is currently featured in Tot Trends Weekly Summer shopping guide! I’m really super excited about it!

On the topic of shopping, I was browsing online for a new swim suit for this summer and I came across this
hot lingerie site that also has some really cute bikinis. I can’t decide what style I want to get. I really like
this one but I’m not sure if I want to spend that much on a swim suit. I like how that one covers your tummy but is still really, really cute. Even though you can barely see what stretch marks I did get from my pregnancy, I’m still self conscious about them. I wish there was a magical way to make them disappear! They really aren’t that bad, but my belly button just doesn’t look like it used to. It… sags… or something. I don’t know. It’s weird.

I’m in love.
If you know me, you know I love jeans. Jeans are perfect for anything, anytime. Everyone needs at least one pair of jeans that are completely amazing. I’ve spent a lot of time and money over the years searching for the the perfect pair of jeans. Well my friends, the search ends here.
Allow me to introduce my new jean love, Husdon. I have seen celebrities wearing Hudson jeans from time to time and have always thought they were cute. But when I was flipping through the current issue of InStyle magazine, I saw Rachel Bilson in these Hudson jeans and I just HAD TO HAVE THEM.
So of course, I searched ebay. I couldn’t find the exact style in my size at a price I wanted to pay so I kept checking every day and then finally, someone posted the exact jeans that I wanted, in my size, at an amazing buy it now price - brand new with tags!
They came in the mail today. They are perfect. Perfect, perfect, perfect. I also got another pair of Hudson jeans that came yesterday, and they are amazing. The denim has a super soft broken in feel and the back pockets make your butt look really, really good.
There are few things that satisfy me more than sliding into a perfect pair of jeans. My husband thinks I’m obsessed.
