Leave Joe Alone!
11:08 pm ~ 3

I haven’t been blogging much about politics lately but I just can’t help but chime in on this one.

“Joe the Plumber”.

LEAVE JOE ALONE! SERIOUSLY! We now know more about “Joe the Plumber” than we do about Barack Obama. And Obama is the one running for president! All because the guy dared to question the all mighty Obama on his ridiculous plan to “spread the wealth” because successful people can better afford it. You know what I think about that plan? I think Obama can shove it up his “you know what”.

Why don’t these people who call themselves journalist do their job and go after the things that really need to be found out about the people who are actually running for president. Do they really need to camp out on “Joe’s” front lawn and hound him about his taxes and other bull that is no ones business but his?

SERIOUSLY.

minis!

I looooooove miniature things. Anything. If it’s tiny and cute I love it. I recently starting using small polymer clay flat backs for hair bow centers and it adds so much cuteness to an ordinary bow!
While browsing for things to use with hair bows, I came across all sorts of adorable things on etsy made from polymer clay. I am in love with this artists work. She makes miniature foods and just look at all the fine details!!! It amazes me!
I wanted to give a shot at making little things out of polymer clay so Preston bought me a polymer clay starter set, some tools, and a book today. It was very sweet of him, I was so excited. I can’t wait to try and make something! It looks so fun!
I have always, always, always wanted a doll house. I’m not talking about barbie doll house, I’m talking about one of those gorgeous wooden doll houses complete with all the miniature furnishings. Maybe some day.
Speakings of furnishings, I’m trying to find tv furniture that is not too bulky for our tv. I want something sleek and simple that doesn’t take up a lot of additional space. We have a glass stand right now but I would like something that has the bottom part for the dvd player, etc. closed in. There are twenty little fingers in this house that just love to push buttons!
Including mine!!!

Besides being busy, I haven’t really been in the blogging mood the last couple days. I guess I don’t have anything to talk about that I haven’t talked about a million times before. I’m feeling boring at the moment!

I’ve been working on orders for my boutique and fun stuff like that. I’m also trying to get some stock built up to put in the mail store I was telling you about, and I’m also going to start doing a bunch of bows for another childrens boutique. So, I’ve been pretty busy.

I’ve also been looking at house related stuff a lot, daydreaming about being in more space again! I told Preston I would love to have a cool movie room complete with movie posters, theater seating, and of course some cool home theater lighting! Wouldn’t that be fun? We’ll see what happens.

Anyway, more later!

I love this song. It’s one of my all time favorites. Even if you are not “religious” listen to it, it’s very good. It has the perfect message. It’s awesome. I saw 4 Him live with Preston, and it was probably one of the best concerts I’ve been too.

Okay great.

What are you paying?

What’s the price of gas in your town? Gas here in East Texas is going down nicely. It’s currently $2.97/gal and at Kroger I can get 10 cents off when I spend $100 or more in groceries (which I did today) which brings it to $2.87/gal! Not bad considering how high it has been lately.

I’m so anxious to get into our house. It seems like this place we are in gets smaller every day. I can’t wait to start on the interior and landscaping. I’ve been browsing online looking at everything from outdoor lighting to kitchen cabinets. I’m trying to remind myself that the end is in sight! Even if it doesn’t seem like it right now. I really don’t need to complain, and I’m not really complaining, I’m just anxious. Preston is working so hard on everything and it’s actually happening faster than I expected so I just have to remember to keep my patience! Which is hard for me.

The new old school

Lots of you might not know what I’m referring to in this post so just skip on over it if that’s the case! Oh and also, Preston posted here!!!

It seems as though quite a few of the old school “cam girls” on the net are turning into the new school “mommy bloggers”! It’s fun to see girls you’ve read about for years grow up and turn into wonderful women. Congrats to Pam and hubby on finding out they are expecting a boy and to Renee and her boyfriend on finding out they are expecting also!

Okay…. Kalen, Cassie…. it’s your turn. I want to see more babies soon!!!

And a little off topic but this site cheap t-shirts that are hilarious, even if a lot of them are pretty vulgar. I like this one a lot.
